Stocktaking is the secret to profitable living. Stocktaking helps to self-evaluate yourself. Progress is a product of reviews. To make motion and progress, you will need to take time off to review your past dealings and also realign yourself.
Look away from people as an excuse for your failure. To blame others for your mistake is to remain lame in that situation. 2cor 13:5, self-evaluation is the greatest evaluation in life. You have to know to judge yourself. 1cor 11:31. Don’t wait for others to tell you your problem, find it out yourself. Self-Truth is very important.
Areas for Stocktaking
1. Spiritual Life: you win or lose anything by your spiritual root. Psalm 11:3, Spirituality is the foundation for your success. Most of the battles we fight in life are essential spiritual Eph 6:12, 2 Cor. 10:3. To win physically, learn how to win spiritually. 3John 1 vs2Grow your spirit, and invest in your spirit to become a better man in 2023. Build up your spirit by walking with God Prov 13:1, studying the word regularly, matt 4:4, spend quality time praying. Jude 1:20, Be a soul winner Prov. 4:30, examine your work of righteousness Acts 10:34-35 and giving Prov 11:25, luke 6:38
2. Service to God: How much of your time, energy and resources have you deployed to God. Gen 8:22. Exo 23:25. Those that didn’t labour for God do not qualify for a reward from God.
3. Family Life: What is the relationship between you, your spouse and children? How you fair in your home determines how you fair in your business. Submission is made easy for the woman if as a man, you treat and respect your wife very well. 1Peter 3:7
4. Relationships: The most important thing in life is relationships. You can’t take your billions to heaven, but you can take people to heaven; that’s why the greatest commandment from Jesus is to Love your neighbor as yourself. Matt 22:37-39. So the greatest commandment relates to relationships because loving your neighbor is your relationship.
No matter how gifted you are, you will need people, because there is no self-made man. Luke 6:38, if you despise men that come to your life, you will reap the reward of despise.
How do you treat men when you are angry? To succeed, leverage relationships.
Namaan in the bible was healed because his maid recommended a solution because Namaan had a good disposition towards her. Whatever vision God gives you, will need the input of other men. Gen 2:18, Eccl 4:9
