The ideology behind a rubber stamp usage to affirm the authenticity and approval of a document does not align with the operations and dealings of God with man as some individuals have conceptualized this relationship to be.
God is not a rubber stamp to approve all your desires and will.
Isaiah 46:10b states, “My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure”
The above scripture reiterates the superiority and significance of God’s will over ours.
As Bible scholars have identified that we have 3 types of God’s will: Permissive will of God, Accepted will of God and Perfect will of God. It is undeniable that for man to obtain results cheaply and fulfill purpose, it’s best for him to walk in the perfect will of God.
Unfortunately, many people want to play smart on God. They do not care to know the perfect will of God for their lives.
Most prefers to walk in their own will and expects God to approve their self-will by rubber stamping it to be the perfect will for their life.
It is often said that the clay can never dictates to the potter on what’s best for it. When you use your own discretion and take decisions concerning your life as convenient by you, not as commanded by God, you are walking in the permissive will of God. This cannot lead to your full profiting.
Do you want to live a life of purpose and fulfill destiny in grand style? Then, don’t make God a rubber stamp. Let him be your potter and submit fully to his dictates. Remember Jonah, he wanted to do as convenient but God showed him that he must do his perfect will, it was after he yielded to the perfect will and instructions of God that the Ship knew peace.
Your life will know untold peace when you surrender and walk in his perfect will.
