Walking in Dominion

TEXT: Genesis 1:28, Luke 10:19, John 1:12

Until you are in full dominion, you are not what God wants you to become.

WHAT IS DOMINION?

Dominion is to be in charge in all areas. It is to be indomitable against every force of hell

Dominion is having it the way you want it

FACTS ABOUT DOMINION

1. THE MANDATE OF DOMINION WAS ADDRESSED TO THE SPIRIT – Gen. 1:28.

When God spoke in Gen. 1:28, he was addressing the spirit of man.

If you are Born- again, you are automatically in the realm of dominion

Salvation is our initiation into dominion

2. IF YOU DON’T DEVELOP YOUR SPIRIT, YOU CAN’T WALK IN THE SPIRIT – Gal. 5:16

3. THE BATTLES OF LIFE ARE ESSENTIALLY SPIRITUAL – 2 cor. 10:4

The battles of life are either won or lost in the spirit

Anything that goes on in the physical has a force in the spiritual.

4. SATAN IS ALREADY DEFEATED BY YOU – 2 Cor. 2:15

Jesus didn’t defeat the devil for himself, but for the saints

POWER KEYS FOR DOMINION

1. PRAYER – James 5:17

Prayerlessness is the reason why many Christians are struggling. Glorious things do not just happen, it requires seriousness. It is your personal prayer life that guarantees your DOMINION – mark 1:35. Those who meet with God, don’t struggle before men

2. LIGHT (ILLUMINATION) FROM THE WORD – Hosea 4:6

Light is the foundational key for Dominion. Everyone in Ignorance is in darkness – Hosea 4:6, Isaiah 5:13. Your ignorance is the advantage the devil has over you. Light is insight from the word – Genesis 9:2, Gen. 1:3, and only the lighted take charge and dominate

You can’t be lighted and still be intimidated – Isaiah 60:1. The degree of light you carry determines the number of devils that stay away from you.

3. FAITH – Hebrew 11:32-34

Faith is confidence based on your understanding of His faithfulness as revealed by His word.

Your faith is your Dominion – 1 John 5:4. Without the exercise of faith we can’t walk in Dominion – Heb. 11:32-34, Hab. 2:4, Romans 1:17, Eph. 6:16.
