God is ever eager to help us than we can realize. Isaiah 41:10, Psalm 46:10. Provisions are ever available with God. He never runs dry that’s why he is Elshaddai.
The Holy ghost or Holy spirit, often used interchangeably, has been given to us as the divine help for the hour. John 14:6
Who is the Holy spirit?
1. He is the third person of the Godhead: He is a divine personality. The Holy spirit has a spiritual body. 1cor 15:44. He has a soul and emotions. He can be grieved. Eph 4:30. The Holy spirit is not inferior because he is referred to as the third person in the trinity. He is referred to as the third person in the trinity because he was the last person to manifest.
In the old testament, the Father manifested, new testament was Jesus, and when Jesus had left, the holy spirit came.
In Acts 5:3-4, the Holy Spirit was used to replaced God in Peter’s Statement. However, In Gen 1:1-3, the trinity manifested together.
Again, Acts 7:55, reveals that in heaven God is seated and Jesus is seated on the right side, but no mention of anyone on his left. This is because, the Holy Spirit who is supposed to be on the left is here with us on earth.
However, the holy spirit doesn’t force himself on any man . He only invades you when you invite him or call on him. Do not only communicate with the holy spirit only when you want to pray. He wants a regular conversation with him just as you would converse naturally with your spouse or best friends. Much more man this, we need to relate with the Holy spirit on every little matter that concerns us.
2. He is the power house of the Godhead: He is the custodian of the power of the Godhead. God the father waited for God the spirit to hover on the earth in the beginning before he could perform. Gen 1:1-3
In the Same vein, God the son couldn’t perform anything until the Holy spirit came. Luke 3:21-23, Act 10:38.
Thats why Jesus instructed his disciples not to make a move until they receive the holy ghost power. Luke 24:49, Acts 1:8
Finally, Samson was powerful enough to fight lion cos of the power of the Holy spirit he carried. Judges 14:6
The Holy spirit is your only dependable helper as a Christian and he is willing to help if you invite and acknowledge him today.
