Except you enjoy God’s input in your life, struggle would continue. Psalm 127:1, Rom. 9:16. You would need God to be involved in your life, if you want to see your color emerge. Even Jesus the Christ required favour to excel Luke 2:52. The favour of God adds flavour to your life. 1Cor 15:10, favour sets you apart from others.
1. Kingdom Passion: is the foundation that must be laid, if you want to walk in God’s favour. Psalm 102:13-14. When you show interest in the kingdom of God, God becomes interested in your matter. As a Christian, the density of God’s favour you carry is a reflection of the passion you have for God. 1Cor 2:9, The best of heaven is kept aside for lovers
Proofs that shows you are passionate of God’s kingdom:
a. Love to be in the house of God: Psalm 84:10, Psalm 122:1
b. Your Delight in promoting the cause of the kingdom: you give to God’s kingdom, without constraints or restraints. John 3:16. You give substantially to the object of your love. 1Chronicles 29:3
c. Addicted passion to soul winning: This is the greatest service to God’s kingdom.
Mark 16:15, Soul winning is your main mandate. 1 Timothy 2:4. Luke 18:10, soul winning is God’s business, if you love God, you would love his business.
2. Walk in righteousness: Psalm 5:12, God’s favour is preserved and kept for a select few (the righteous). The life of favour is impossible without a stand in righteousness and a stand for righteousness.
Righteousness means right standing with God. 2Cor 5:21, Eph 1:6, Rom 5:1. Your candidature is righteousness determined. Grace is not a license to continue in sin, it is an empowerment to dominate over sin.
Righteousness also mean doing right. This means living right. 1Jhn 3:7-9
3. Show favour to others: Favour is a seed that obeys the law of the harvest. Gen 8:22. Gal 6:7, If you sow the seed of favour, you are bound to reap the harvest of favour. Matt 5:7, Prov 11:27
How to sow the seed of Favour:
(a) Break free from selfishness: Phil 2:3-4
(b) Start from where you are: Liberality is of the soul, it is not about how much you have. Prov 11:25
(c)Don’t expect any man to thank you: Eph 6:8, Acts of kindness are best paid by the Lord.
4. The knowledge of God: 2peter 1:2, We can multiply the density of the word of God via the knowledge of God via his word. Prov. 13:15. When you know the way of God, you will make waves amongst men. Hosea 4:6, Isaiah 5:13-14
