The Bible is the bearer of the word of God. There are 66 books in the Bible. The bible is made up of two parts: The Old testament, made up of 969 chapter and 39 books; and the New Testament made up of 260 chapters and 27 books.
How was the bible written?
The Old Testament was written in Hebrew and the New Testament in Greek, but Ezra and latter part of Daniel was written in Aramaic
Differences between Old and New Testament:
The Old Testament is about God’s covenant with Israel, their shortcomings and their restoration. This was simply to bring a nation as a sample for the world to see what he would do in regards salvation and redemption. WHILE, the New Testament talks about a new covenant with the blood of Jesus, the Son of God and God’s redemption plan for mankind
In the Old Testament, forgiveness of sin was shedding of animals annually but in the New Testament, it is by the shedding of the blood of Jesus Christ for mankind once and for all. HEB 9:7, 11
Justification was by works in Old Testament but in the New Testament, it is by Faith in the finished work of Calvary, Ron 4:4-5, Ron 10:4
