When you encounter the blessing, your making becomes a reality. Prov 10:22. Life is not difficult, the absence of the blessing is what brings difficulty. Abram was a ‘nonentity’ before, but when the blessing came, he became something. Gen 12:3.
Every child of God has access to the blessings. prov 10:6, Eph 1:3
Below are Keys to activating the Blessing:
1. The Key of Spirituality: Gods blessing is not physical or emotional. The blessing is spiritual. It is a tangible force of the spirit. You can perceive the blessing in the realm of the Spirit. Zech 5:1-3, shows the perceptibility of a curse and as curse is perceptible so is the blessing.
The blessing is in your spirit already. John 4:24, Gen 1:38, but the reason you haven’t activated it is because you are too familiar with the flesh. The blessing is a spiritual substance. The blessing is a promise of the spirit not of the spirit Gal 3:13-14
2. Obedience: Obedience means aligning your life, with the word of God; i.e that is making God’s word the standard for your life. Bringing your life in sync with God’s word. Isaiah 1:19
whatever scripture you are breaking is what is breaking your life. Job 36:11, 1sam 15:22. Obedience needs to be prompt to be complete. 2cor 10:6. If you need the blessings of Abraham, follow the obedient character of Abraham
3. The Fear of God: Psalm 115:12-13, Everyday you are faced with choices that determines your destiny either to be blessed or cursed. Deut. 30:19 .If you must embrace the blessing, you must embrace the fear of God
What is the fear of God? Jer 32:40, Fear of God refers to having reverence for God, It means to honour God. Phil 2:-12
What the fear of God do?
a. It takes you away from sin: Psalm 16:6
b. It will drive away all other fears: Isaiah 8:13
C. It will motivate you to obey God’s command: Heb 11:7
d. It will destroy familiarity with God:
4. The key of Faithfulness: Faithfulness means to remain loyal to God persistently and consistently. 1Cor 15:58. The blesser is faithful, therefore he expects faithfulness from the blessed because faithfulness is His character. God’s blessing multiplies to the faithful. Isaiah 6:8, Matt25:21, Prov. 28:20
