When you seek the expansion of God’s kingdom, your portion in the blessings of God will not be denied. Matt 6:33.
Your primary call in life is to be a soul winner, no matter your profession. Matt 4:19.
However, there are some attributes or characteristics a soul winner is expected to possess, to be able to harvest souls cheaply. These characteristics are:
1. Compassion: refers to ‘compounded emotions’. Prov. 14:9. Compassion is the key expression of a soul winner. Matt 9:36, Rom 10:1, John 3:16, Jude 1:22-23. When you are a compassionate Christian, you will easily carry the power of God. You will see the end of the sinner and thus be moved to reach out to them with the gospel and pray for them
2. The consciousness of his salvation: when you lose sight of your salvation, you would lack the motivation to bring others to Christ. 1Tim 1:12-15, John 4:29
3. They think of eternity: God has given us time to prepare for eternity. Dan 12:3. A soul winner’s desire is to shine forever and forever
4. He is intentional: The soul winners, programs/add soul winning to his day. Soul winning is prepared for. Luke 14:28. Acts 16:13
