Many times, we have unconsciously limited the activities or moves of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We assume there are areas of our lives that we don’t need to bother the Holy Spirit about. The Holy Spirit, who is the third person of the godhead, is the revealer of secrets, 1 Corinthians 2 :9-12. He is all-knowing and has the capacity to guide us in all aspects of our lives, be it academics, relationships, finances, emotions, spiritual and others. Daniel 5:11-12. In other words, he can guide us on how to do our businesses, where to invest our money, who to marry, what to say and the best way to say it, where to go, what to do and whatever instruction or direction we require in life.
So, no matter your personality, status, background, culture or occupation in life, you need the Holy Spirit to help you be all that God has designed you to be in life! If you check the scriptures, you’ll notice that even Jesus’ ministry on earth, only began, when the Holy Spirit came upon him, Acts 10:38, Matthew 3:16-17. The Holy Spirit is the power house! Acts 1:8
In 2021, we need to cultivate a better and more intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit to be able to have access to secrets of a fulfilled, successful and victorious life. Please bear in mind that as you fellowship with the Holy Spirit, you will receive directions that are not in alignment with the thoughts and ways of men because God’s ways are higher than ours and He uses, most times, what we classify as foolish things, to execute mighty things. Remember how David, a 17 year old boy, brought down a warrior and a giant named Goliath, with “just a stone and a sling?” so, just follow Him!
The journey to becoming intimate with the Holy Spirit, begins with our salvation, when we recognize and repent of our sins, and invite Jesus Christ into our hearts as our Lord and Savior. It is at this point that we can begin to relate with and build relationship with the Holy Spirit, and he will readily respond to us accordingly.
